This policy describes data handling in the current personal-finance version of Tadqeeq, developed by Mohammed Alharbi. No Tadqeeq account is required for local use. The app does not operate your bank account or execute bank transfers or payments; automatic recording only creates records within the app.

1. Information you store in Tadqeeq

Tadqeeq stores information you enter or authorize it to receive, to display your records, calculate balances, budgets and insights, and organize upcoming payments. This includes:

• Expenses, income, amounts, currencies, dates, notes and categories.
• Budgets, salary and recurring schedules, opening balances, balance reconciliations and carryover settings.
• Subscriptions, savings goals, debts, the person or organization names you enter, payment and savings histories, and archived records.
• Preferences such as language, appearance, currency, financial cycle and reminders.

This information is stored locally. The app does not upload your financial ledger to a developer-operated server. Optional features may use the services described below.

2. Optional iCloud sync

When you enable sync with a Tadqeeq Pro entitlement, financial records—including goals, debts, subscriptions, their histories and balance records—sync through CloudKit in your iCloud account’s private database. They are not published in a public database, and the developer cannot browse your private records in the CloudKit dashboard.

Financial-profile settings, such as currency, calendar and cycle policy, also sync through iCloud. This does not mean every device preference is synchronized. iCloud service, storage and data handling are subject to Apple’s privacy policy. Turning sync off or letting Pro expire does not erase your local records or automatically delete an existing iCloud copy.

3. Apple Pay and Shortcuts

Receiving Apple Pay expenses is optional. It requires enabling receipt in Tadqeeq and configuring a personal automation in Apple Shortcuts. Tadqeeq receives only the fields sent by that automation, such as amount, merchant, currency and date. Apple or your card may not provide every field.

Tadqeeq does not read your entire Wallet history or request your card number or bank login. Incoming expenses stay in a local review queue that does not sync through CloudKit and does not affect your app balance until approved. Once approved, an expense becomes a regular transaction and can sync if sync is enabled. You can discard an expense, turn off receipt, or disable the automation in Shortcuts.

Other shortcuts let you add expenses or income and request financial summaries. Inputs and results may appear in Shortcuts or Siri depending on the action you run and your Apple settings. Take care when sharing shortcuts or running them in public.

4. Subscription logos

Bundled logos are displayed without a network request. For other logos, Tadqeeq requests an image from Brandfetch using the service’s domain, such as netflix.com, and an app-level service identifier. The provider also receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and technical request data.

The logo request does not contain your subscription amount, notes, category or other financial records. Images may be cached on your device to reduce requests. A custom subscription without a website or logo avoids requesting its logo from an external provider. See Brandfetch’s privacy policy for more about the provider.

5. Tadqeeq Pro purchases

Apple processes Pro purchases, renewals and restorations through the App Store. Tadqeeq uses product information, purchase verification and entitlement status to enable features. It does not receive your payment-card details or bank-account information. Manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account; erasing Tadqeeq data or deleting the app does not cancel a paid subscription.

6. Notifications and widgets

With your notification permission, the app schedules local reminders for upcoming obligations and payments. A reminder may show a record or person’s name and its amount. You can hide amounts in the app’s notification settings and control previews in system settings.

Tadqeeq widgets use a local summary shared with the app to show balances, income, expenses and budgets. This information may be visible to anyone who can see your screen. You can remove widgets or disable notifications at any time.

7. Tracking and diagnostics

The app contains no advertising networks or third-party analytics tools, does not use your data to track you across apps and websites, and does not sell it to data brokers. Limited technical information, such as error codes and app version, is logged locally for troubleshooting.

Apple may provide crash and performance reports to the developer according to your analytics-sharing settings. If you test the app through TestFlight, Apple collects testing data and shares crash reports, usage information and feedback with the developer under TestFlight’s privacy terms. We use this information to diagnose issues and improve app stability.

8. Retention and deletion

Your records remain until you delete them. Archiving keeps a record; it does not erase it. You can edit or delete records in the app, or use Erase Data in Settings and select the scope to erase. Erasing records does not reset all device preferences.

Deleting a goal, debt or subscription does not necessarily delete its past financial transactions. Linking records or deletion states may remain to keep the ledger consistent and prevent a deleted payment from being recreated during sync. Review the deletion scope if you also want to erase financial history.

To delete synchronized records too, keep sync enabled during deletion with an internet connection, and allow time for changes to reach iCloud and your other devices. Turning sync off or deleting the app alone does not erase its iCloud copy. You can also manage app data in iCloud through your Apple account settings.

Pending Apple Pay expenses are local. You can discard individual entries or clear the queue when erasing transactions through Erase Data. Separate device backups may exist depending on your Apple settings; deletion in the app does not imply deletion from those backups.

9. Protecting your information

Local storage relies on operating-system protections and app isolation. Logo requests use HTTPS, while Apple manages protection for iCloud and App Store services. No storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security. Protect your device and Apple account, and do not place bank passwords or full card numbers in notes; the app does not need them.

10. Support website and contact

The support website does not ask you to upload your financial ledger. When you visit, the hosting provider processes connection information needed to serve the page, such as your IP address and request data. We have not added advertising or visitor-analytics tools to these pages.

If you email us, we receive your email address and any description, images or reports you choose to send, and use them to handle your request. Redact sensitive financial information before sending it. For privacy questions or to request deletion of support correspondence you sent, contact Mohammed Alharbi at maalharbi94@gmail.com. Contacting us does not give us access to your private iCloud database.

11. Policy updates

We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The revised version and its date will appear here. The app requests any system permissions required when you use the relevant features.
